Earlier this week, T-Pain began speaking about a joint project with himself and Lil Wayne that was never before heard. Today (May 18), the singer surprised all of their fans and released the collaborative album T-Wayne.
T-Wayne was actually supposed to drop in 2009 -- almost 10 years ago! In a previous 2008 interview with MTV News, T-Pain briefly spoke about the project. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely we can discuss it, man," he said. "I've been doing an album with Lil Wayne. It's called T-Wayne: The Project. It's basically just going to be an array of things, just a visual love. The two artists you've seen collaborate with everyone except each other. When you see us together, it's crazy right now."
Fast forward nine years later and it's finally here. T-Pain decided to drop the joint album on Soundcloud. It features eight tracks from the two recording artists and potential future songs of the summer. Though this isn't "Tha Carter V," it's still some new music from Weezy and we're thankful.
