Kim Kardashian Criticized For Controversial Instagram Post

Another day, another scandal... Kim Kardashian is facing much backlash after promoting "appetite suppressant" lollipop to her 111 million plus Instagram followers.

The candy is created by Flat Tummy Co. It only contains 35 calories and apparently has the power to suppress the feeling of hunger because of an active ingredient called Satiereal. Flat Tummy Co. says that the lollipops are "designed to be taken right when you get hit with those mid morning or late afternoon cravings! So if you look at the clock and you're still 2 hours away from lunch or dinner, grab a lollipop to help suppress your appetite and kick your cravings."

When Kardashian posted a photo of herself enjoying one of the lollipops, many of her followers couldn't believe what they were seeing. The reality TV star's caption probably made things worse. It read, “You guys… @flattummyco just dropped a new product. They’re Appetite Suppressant Lollipops and they’re literally unreal. They’re giving the first 500 people on their website 15% OFF so if you want to get your hands on some… you need to do it quick! #suckit.'”

Kardashian's fans quickly blasted her for promoting something that could be very damaging to young girls who follow her. “Seriously? Why do you constantly choose to promote such a toxic message to your young, female followers? It’s disgraceful,” one user said. Another added: “Disappointed to see such a post from such an influential media icon. Eating isn’t shameful, our bodies aren’t shameful. We deserve better.”

A third person said: “I, like you, am the mother of two daughters and I think promoting a product like this is deeply irresponsible on your part Kim.”

The post has since been deleted from her page.
