NBA YoungBoy Arrested In Atlanta On Drug & Disorderly Conduct Charges

NBA Youngboy was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday (February 11).

According to TMZ , the Louisiana-born rapper was booked for three misdemeanors — possession of weed (less than an ounce), use of fighting words and physical obstruction with another following an incident in a hotel room. Authorities told the gossip site, YoungBoy, whose legal name is Kentrell Gaulden, and a woman by the name of Starr Thigpen , were hanging out in a room that "was supposed to be unoccupied" at the Hyatt House when a housekeeper entered the room and a brawl ensued.

Law enforcement sources claim that when housekeeping went into the room, the 19-year-old rapper reportedly told Starr to get them out and that's when Starr allegedly attacked on of the housekeeper, striking her in the face. The fight then reportedly "spilled into the hallway, until the housekeeper could get away and call the cops." When police arrived on the scene, both Starr and YoungBoy were arrested and taken in to custody. YoungBoy and Starr were released on bond early Tuesday morning (February 12).

As fans know, this is not YB's first run-in with the law. Last year, the "No Mentions" rapper was charged with assault and kidnapping after he was caught on camera brutally beating his then-girlfriend in a hotel hallway. He's also previously been arrested for a case connected to a series of shootings in Baton Rouge, Louisiana back in 2016, and he was also accused of firing a weapon during a drive-by shooting around that time, TMZ reports.
