Nipsey Hussle's Son To Inherit $1 Million From Estate: Report

Nipsey Hussle and Lauren London's two-year-old son, Kross Asghedom, reportedly stands to inherit one million dollars from the late rapper's estate.

According to The Blast, Lauren filed legal documents to establish guardianship of Kross and wrote that he is "anticipated to inherit" the large sum "at the close of" his father's estate. She added that she will look out for Kross' "best interests" as he receives the lucrative inheritance from his deceased father.

The 34-year-old actress reportedly filed the paperwork to ensure that she's Kross' guardian, giving her the authority to participate in legal matters involving Nipsey's estate and probate, on her son's behalf.

Following the entertainment news site's finding, Lauren's management team released a statement, saying, "This is a private matter and Lauren has not and will not make any statements. We asked that everyone respect their need for privacy. Thank you."

News of Kross' alleged inheritance comes amid reports Nipsey was the target of a police investigation at the time of his death, back in March. Earlier this week, the New York Times and TMZ reported, the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles City Attorney were investigating the late activist and his business partners for alleged gang activity at his Marathon Clothing store and the surrounding strip mall. The report was especially startling (and foul) given the fact that the LAPD and other government agencies praised Nipsey for his impactful philanthropic efforts in the South Los Angeles community and beyond following his death.

However, on Tuesday (July 17), sources connected to the LAPD and LA City Attorney told TMZ they weren't specifically targeting Nipsey in their investigation as it was more about "abating gang activity in the area, which has been a long-standing problem."
