NF Pens Touching Note To Fans After Topping Chart with New Album

NF - 2019 Lollapalooza - Day 2

It's been a big weekend for NF, but the most exciting news came from his new album, The Search, achieving its No. 1 status. After learning about the incredible achievement, he shared a message full of gratitude for fans and friends.

The Search is NF's second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, and he pulled ahead of Chance The Rapper's new record The Big Day to top the chart. In the touching message posted to social media, he thanked his fans, friends, team and everyone surrounding him for their support. He wrote:

"I want to thank every single fan who supported me by buying this album. I put my life into this and to see this much support means a lot to me. Thank you to my management team for working so hard to make things happen, thank you to my producers / friends who spent countless [hours] in the studio with me, and thank you to my label for letting me do whatever I want creatively since day one. The fans made this album No. 1, and I am forever grateful."

The Search is NF's fourth full-length studio album and follows 2017's Perception. The new LP showcases 19 new songs, including its title track "The Search," singles like "Why," "When I Grow Up," and "Time," in addition to a feature from Sasha Sloan on a song called "Only." The rapper is set to head out on tour in support of The Search this fall, kicking the trek off in Pittsburgh, and stopping in cities across North America including Columbus, Charlotte, Nashville, Louisville, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, Houston, Kansas City, Phoenix, Anaheim and more before making his way to Europe in the spring of 2020.

Over the weekend, NF also performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago on day two of the festival. See some of best photos from his set below.
