Rilo Kiley’s Jenny Lewis, Blake Sennett Reunite For First Time In Six Years

It's been nearly a decade since Rilo Kiley officially called it quits, and in that time there have been two instances where singer Jenny Lewis and guitarist Blake Sennett reunited: the first was in 2015 at Coachella, when Sennett joined Lewis' band to play "Portions For Foxes," and the second was over the weekend, when the duo recorded a virtual performance for Linda Perry's Rock 'N' Relief benefit livestream.

The former bandmates opted for a deep cut, performing "Let Me Back In" (possibly for the first time ever) off 2013's RKives compilation of previously unreleased songs. A masked Sennett played his acoustic guitar while Lewis casually sang into the camera while holding an adorable fluffy black puppy.

Watch the reunion go down at the 5:35:30 mark above.

The two-day event also featured virtual performances from Foo Fighters, Gavin Rossdale, Sheryl Crow, Deadmau5, Carly Simon, Sammy Hagar and more, and live performances from Silversun Pickups, Dawes, Perry Farrell, Jewell, Miguel, Kevin Bacon, Macy Gray, L7’s Donita Sparks, Aloe Blacc, Juliette Lewis and the Licks, James Blunt, Gary Barlow, and more.

Proceeds from the livestream will benefit Sean Penn's CORE Response's (Community Organized Relief Effort) mobile COVID-19 vaccination program, with the goal of making vaccines accessible to Los Angeles' most vulnerable communities.
