WWE has reportedly fired Odyssey Jones weeks after his main roster debut amid allegations of domestic violence, according to Wrestling Observer Live's Bryan Alvarez.

Jones, 30, whose real name is Omari Palmer, appeared on RAW for the first time on August 5 and had been consistently featured in an angle with The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) before being mysteriously taken off of the roster on WWE's official website this week.

"There has not been a press release or anything like that. But I've been told Odyssey Jones is fired. There are rumours online, also from Fightful, that it was a domestic violence allegation. Apparently no arrests at this point but I was told fired. So, that's it for Odyssey Jones," Alvarez said.

Jones last appeared on the August 19 episode of RAW, having won alongside The New Day in a six-man tag-team match against The Final Testament (Akam, Karrion Kross and Rezar) in an angle in which Woods appeared to question Kingston potentially using him as a replacement for injured longtime tag-team partner Big E. The angle appeared to be dropped suddenly, however, as Kingston and Woods claimed that they worked out their issue while Jones was absent without explanation on the August 26 episode of RAW.

Jones, a former offensive guard for the Syracuse Orange, signed with WWE in February 2019, months after attending a try-out in June 2018 and was drafted to the RAW brand in April.
