Ye and adidas' fierce legal battle has finally come to an end.

According to a report TMZ published on Tuesday, October 29, the sneaker brand agreed to a settlement with the Yeezy founder. Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden revealed the update during a conference call with the press. Gulden said there are no more pending issues between the company and Ye after they parted ways two years ago following the artist's antisemitic comments. He confirmed neither adidas nor Ye will receive any money from the settlement and they both plan to move on without any additional legal discourse.

"There isn't any more open issues, and there is no... money going either way, and we both move on," Gulden said per Reuters.

Adidas decided to end its billion-dollar partnership with Ye in 2022 after the artist spewed numerous antisemitic comments in several high-profile interviews on right-wing platforms. The sneaker brand was one of several major brands that reconsidered their working relationship with Ye amid his hateful tirade against the Jewish community. However, they ultimately decided that his actions violated the company's "values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

“Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” the company said in a statement. “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

After selling the coveted sneakers for nearly a decade, the company estimated it would lose $246 million by cutting ties with Yeezy. Adidas eventually sold off the rest of their Yeezy inventory and only brought in $215 million. However, the brand's image has improved significantly in North America and China.

Ye has not commented on the settlement. He's currently focused on his upcoming solo album Bully and his new $35 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
