N.O.R.E. Reflects On Relationship With Ye & Talks Nas Vs. Jim Jones Debate

N.O.R.E. is opening up about his thoughts on Ye, Diddy's trial, and the discourse surrounding Nas and Jim Jones.

The Drink Champs host stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about his "Run Champs" venture and the launch of the Drink Champs Podcast Network. Later on in their conversation, N.O. also recalled his rare conversation with Ye and shared his reaction when he found out that George Floyd's family denounced Ye's comments. N.O told the crew that he "felt responsible" for what Ye said and revealed one eye-popping comment that had to be edited out of the episode.

"[Ye] was like 'What's the difference between George Floyd and Martin Luther King?' and he was like 'Martin Luther King had b***hes! We were like 'Oh s**t! We knew that had to be edited out right there. We were like 'Oh no!'"

Elsewhere in the discussion, Charlamagne Tha God decided to do a rapid-fire "Q&A" session with N.O.R.E. similar to Drink Champs' segment. The first question was about the Nas vs. Jim Jones debate. The other half of Capone-N-Noreaga, who has worked with Nas in the past, said he could see where Jones was coming from as far as his recent impact on Hip-Hop. However, he emphasized that no one can discount Nas' decades-long legacy no matter what the algorithms say.

N.O.R.E. also revealed the true context behind a viral clip of Diddy and Fabolous amid the Bad Boy Records founder's criminal trial in New York City. He also reflected on the racist incident that went down involving him and a manager of a restaurant in Miami. Watch the seasoned Queens rapper's new interview on The Breakfast Club below.
